Seeing in the Dark with Timothy Ferris
This PBS special is based on the Ferris' 2002 book, named by The New York Times as one of the ten best books of the year. "Seeing in the Dark introduces viewers to the rewards of first-person, hands-on astronomy - from kids learning the constellations to amateur astronomers doing professional-grade research in discovering planets and exploding stars." A question and answer session with Prof. Ferris will follow the showing of the film. Admission is free. Parking is $3 per car. Arrive early for best seats.
