What to Wear:

Warm layers, gloves and hats. Wool socks and sturdy shoes are helpful. Nights can be very cold. Bring a flashlight. We will provide red cellophane covers to protect your night vision.

      JUPITER will be our main focus. Other highlighted objects will include the Whirlpool Galaxy, currently colliding with another galaxy and astounding globular clusters.

      In case the sky conditions are forecast to be unfavorable on the scheduled night, the event will be cancelled 24 hours in advance and participants will receive a refund. A similar event will be scheduled for Thursday, July 27th.

    Time: 8 PM - 12 Midnight (at Cameo Cinema, St. Helena)
    • Join RFO outside the Cameo Cinema as we take part in the Family Film Festival. We'll have telescopes to look through, and information about RFO.

    • RFO presents "Focus on Saturn": an evening dedicated to the famously ringed planet. After everyone has had their fill of Saturn, the telescopes will be turned on other wonders of the evening's sky. This evening is limited to 20 guests.

      In case the sky conditions are forecast to be unfavorable on the scheduled night, the event will be cancelled 24 hours in advance and participants will receive a refund.
